LEARN  self improvement techniques as you add strength and suppleness for your own health.  Help your horse's   performance with natural horse psychology and gymnastic exercises. Learn to listen to and read your horse's language and signals  for better communication.

  Training options are Basic horse handling with groundwork, including TTEAM, Reiki and basic equine massage techniques  Elementary riding  in balance and control.  Intermediate control and gymnastic training exercises.  Advanced classical riding and horse training for dynamic performances.                          

  Riding styles (disciplines) include Pleasure/trail riding,  Dressage,  Western dressage, Gaited riding, Jumping - equitation over fences, Driving.

   Lessons can be weekly, monthly or as needed.   Riders may trailer in to WHF with your own horse or learn with a well trained WHF school horse. Lessons may be private, semi private or groups of 3 riders.  They are individually designed according to the  knowledge, ability and interest of the student. The focus is on the rider, resulting in efficient communication and control for the best performance of the horse.  The rider using his/her center of balance,  movement and self control to connect with the center of balance and movement of the horse

  A day of lessons at your farm  Enjoy an hour of group unmounted games and exercises - followed by private or semiprivate riding lessons and horse training.  Minimum of 4 hours required.

Riding Retreats -Not available during the Pandemic ) concentrated training for 1 to 3 people consisting of 2 or more days  Take time for yourself to form a respectful and working relationship with the horse.  Stay in the centuries old farmhouse.  Enjoy the hot tub after a day of exercising.

Horse training - Learn the progressive step by step development of young and green horses, from groundwork progressing into riding and driving.  Owners are guided and coached in the training or re-training of their own horse.  Owners are helped in the rehabilitation of injured and mentally insecure horses.

Working Student Program - Only local working students  Residential students Not accepted during the Pandemic teenagers and adults are invited to work on the farm, caring for horses, equipment, and facilities.   Workers receive training in horse management, riding and horse training.  They receive hourly credits towards lessons ans clinics at WHF .

PRIMETIME RIDERS ADULT RIDING CLUB    Riders of any ability in styles of English, Western and Driving are welcome.  Riders must be 21 years or older.  Many members are in their 60s and 70s. (Members can elect not to ride over jumps).  Winter meetings with guest speakers are followed by guest instructors for the riding season.  New members are always Welcome...
